Tips from HappyAha: the 5oz bottle is for newborns up to 6 month, depends on how often/much your baby drinks milk. We would recommend you to buy two sets of this bottle (6 in total) to start with, as well as MAM medium flow nipples when baby turns 2-3 month and needs a faster flow. You can purchase the 8oz bottle after 6 months.
The MAM Anti-Colic Bottle sterilizes itself in just three easy steps:

Preparing and heating food in the bottle: What should I look out for?
Before the bottle is placed in the water bath or the bottle warmer, the sealing cap is always removed. The contents of the bottle must not boil – so do not pour any boiling liquids into it! Before feeding begins, the bottle should be dried using a clean cloth.
Can MAM bottles be warmed up in the microwave?
Yes. Simply remove the cap, ring nut and nipple and warm up the MAM bottle in the microwave. After heating, stir around so that the heat is evenly distributed. Before baby begins to eat any food, check the temperature and then baby can begin eating.
How often should the bottle nipple be replaced?
For hygiene reasons, the nipples should be replaced at regular intervals. Simply check the nipple each time you are about to use the bottle – especially when baby already has teeth – and replace it when the first signs of damage or weak points become apparent.
Do MAM bottles remain leaktight when they are transported?
Yes, because the innovative protective cap ensures that the liquid remains in the bottle. This means there is no need for any small sealing disc: Simply place the protective cap on the bottle and then you can transport it safely.
Are MAM bottles shatterproof?
Yes, all parts in the MAM bottles are shatterproof.
When does baby switch over from the bottle to the drinking cup?
Six-month-old babies love drinking from a cup. The MAM Learn To Drink range provides them with the ideal support here. This will ensure that baby makes the perfect transition from breastfeeding or bottle feeding to independent drinking.
